Meet the Leadership Behind Deschy Constructions

The Deschy Constructions leadership and crew

Every project we deliver ultimately comes down to the people accountable for it. Deschy Constructions has been a family-owned company since 1987, and the standards it was founded on are still set from the top. Across more than $2 billion in delivered property construction, two people anchor how the company runs day to day — our President and our VP of Operations.

Julian Deschamps — President

As President, Julian sets the direction of the company and owns its standards on every project. He carries forward the values the business was built on — integrity, safety, quality and partnership — and holds every engagement to them. For Julian, the company's reputation is simple and non-negotiable: do what you say, hit your dates, and leave a site you're proud to put the family name on. That standard is why owners, architects and developers come back to work with us again and again.

Emmanuel Deschamps — VP of Operations

If the President sets the standard, the VP of Operations makes it real on every site. Emmanuel keeps our projects on schedule, on budget and running smoothly — coordinating crews, subcontractors and stakeholders so nothing falls through the cracks. Schedule reliability is one of the things we're proudest of across our portfolio, and that comes from disciplined, hands-on operations leadership. Emmanuel is the reason a Deschy Constructions site runs the way it does: organized, safe, and communicative from preconstruction through handover.

A Family Standard, Held for Decades

What started as one immigrant's ambition in 1987 is now a family company that has delivered billions in construction — but the way it's run hasn't changed. The people at the top still put their name on the work. You can meet the full leadership team, including our directors of preconstruction and of health and safety, on our About page. And if you're weighing who to trust with your next build, our guide on how to choose a general contractor lays out exactly what to look for.
